Worldwide Work at Clover Hill

Every summer we have One World Week where we learn about different countries and the people who live there. This year Fanuel taught us African drumming and gumboot dancing. KS1 were visited by a lady in beautiful, traditional Indian costume. Year 5 went to a Greek restaurant. Children from La Higuerita, our partner school in Gran Canaria, joined in many of our activities.

 

 

 

At Clover Hill we are trying to help other people, especially farmers in different countries, get a fair price for the products they sell in Britain and have been working towards becoming a Fairtrade School. We have sold lots of Fairtrade products after school and at our School Fayre. We have set up a steering group and have a Fairtrade Action Plan in place.
